Cox phone and internet keep going out

My Cox phone has gone out 3 times in the past week. Now the internet has also gone out. I called and spent 40 cell phone minutes (I do not have an unlimited plan) and it came back on. The tech they sent to the house last week spent 5 min and never checked anything. Since everything was working when he came, he just left it as is. I think Cox should reimburse me for my cell phone minutes, over 90 minutes between all of the calls. Another tech is scheduled to come out but I want a new modem box for sure this time.

Anyone else having problems with their service? Is it just the rain storms.

Sounds like just you. I have FIOS now and not Cox anymore, but never had any problems and haven't heard any from friends/neighbors. I think Cox's offerings are not quite as good but their customer service is superior. Go into one of their brick & mortar locations and talk to someone if you need to do so.

Been happening to me as well, but the last two times the technician was a Latino chic with huge knockers and a tattoo on her butt (saw it when she was bending to unplug the modem). Her looks aren't all that great and she chews gum (I detest that in a woman), but if she unbuttoned her shirt, I would be playing ping pong with her boobies! Oh, what I would give to see if there's another tattoo extending down to her cunt... ...my cox is soooo ready!!

Cox has lots of technical issues, mostly due to bad weather.

My Cox internet was going out every hour on the hour for about 1 minute. Started last week. Cox sucks....and is overpriced. My monthly bill is like $200 (TV and internet)
