I don't get it- This is not like the Rodney King trial where the cops were white and the victim was black. This is a hispanic vs. a black- two protected groups. Why riot? Why are we even hearing about this at all?

Not enough of a mass of low-income blacks left in Fairfax to riot. They've been pushed out by the white devil driving up cost and Asians and Hispanics kicking their asses in the minority game at the low end. The Huxtables around here aren't rioting and the rowdy brothers would have to take the bus across town to get enough together to make a good riot. Ain't nobody got time for that.

When MLK, Jr was shot and killed in '68, nothing happened in FFX Co. Any action happened downtown and then there was Resurrection City. Probably would have been lynchings if any of it spilled over to this side of the river. Nothing will happen here now.

There are so many other things to get upset over and folks get angry over this? I'm not even white (not that it even fucking matters in my opinion - Zimmerman isn't even white!), and I don't think it's such a big deal.

Let's start a pool for which area will be the first to have the niggers begin burning their own neighborhood. I'd guess all the DC'ers will Metro over to Pentagon Mall to loot. There's no Springfield Mall at the end of the Blue Line anymore so that area is safe. The Silver Line is not yet complete so they can't (yet) loot Tysons. No part of PG will go untorched.
