Haven't followed baseball at all this year, but seeing that collision brought to mind one-time phenom Pete Reiser, a shooting star whose career was shortened by his reckless playing style.

It's not Bryce's fault. If that fucking pitcher didn't put a creampuff over the plate like he did then the injury would not have happened.
