The Best Fireworks in Fairfax County- Lake Fairfax? Details, Advise

Starting to figure out my fourth of July plans. I'm thinking of going with a bunch of people to Lake Fairfax park. I have a couple of questions?

What time should I get to the park to have a spot to BBQ? How long does it take to get out of the park? Can I park outside the park and carry in a cooler?

Can we drink alcohol in the park? (Even if the signs say "no alcohol")

Best fireworks for the fourth in NOVA are in Vienna or Herndon. Lake Fairfax has bottle rockets and roman candles. It is super weak
