CONFIDENTIAL - DO NOT FORWARD
The primary results are in and we have our official Democratic ticket. Unfortunately, while the Republicans reached out to put people of color on their ticket, our voters chose what are being labeled as the usual old white men with money, and defeated our Fairfax favorites. Yet we must overcome this truth during the next four months by making the campaign about the Republicans, not us.
Please take a look at yesterday's email that describes just how important November’s election is to our commonwealth and to this country! For the next 48 hours all eyes will be on Virginia Democrats. Fairfax County is known to be an election bellwether - we must have a strong showing to show the media, the pundits, and our opponents that we have what it takes to defeat Ken Cuccinelli and all of the Republicans on the ballot this November.
Fortunately, the weather will top the news over the next two days to give us time to hone our message and get it out to the press.
Our message must be clear and consistent: Republicans are Extremists on all issues that matter to voters. And Democrats are united behind our candidates.
Please contribute now. We must outspend them 2-to-1 to win this year.

Fairfax favorites (especially Connolly's and Moran's) lost.
Dems were told to line up behind the winners. They will.
MCAuliffe will outraise Cuccinelli in money... already ahead.
