Fairfax County Police charged a man with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony after he allegedly robbed a Leesburg Pike business at gunpoint.

According to a police report, the 30-year-old man from Manassas walked into a business in the 8300 block of Leesburg Pike on May 31 just after midnight. The man demanded money out of the register and ran off with the cash, according to the report.

After an investigation and cooperation with the City of Manassas and Prince William County police departments, the man was taken into custody Wednesday.
