So I've lived up here for a year and still have yet to find any good NY pizza around the area. Anyone have any ideas? (and NO....Domino's and Papa John's are NOT NY pizza!)
oh yeah, because new york pizza is sooooo fucking special. why don't you just go the fuck back where you came from and eat all of your precious fucking new york pizza you want. i hope you choke on a big glob of cheese and die you fucking jerkoff.
Although I definitely laughed at the post below, I will go ahead and suggest Mama Lucia's in Fair City Mall.

I'll second Mamma Lucia's at Fair City Mall, and I'll also suggest that their Sicilian is outstanding. When I lived near there it was run by some guys from Sheepshead Bay. Don't know if they're still involved, but my parents live nearby and they say the pizza is still excellent.
Johnny's in the Manchester Lakes shopping center (corner of Beulah Street and Manchester Boulevard/Franconia-Springfield Parkway) is also very good but a little bit expensive.
It's the best in the area, but not in Fairfax---in Leesburg. Go to Giovanni's NY Pizza on Market Street. Best outside of the five Burroughs, no doubt! Native Nassau County Man here, so I know what I'm talking about, capeesh?
Jimmy's New York Pizza in Sterling Park. Great pizza, disorganized business. If you get easily frustrated, don't bother. They don't always check online orders. Check the reviews on Yelp.
there's a place in falls church/ baileys crossroads area called Athens restaurant which I go to all the time! pizza there is the closest I've had since moving down here.
i have to second Flippin pizza, the best ny style pizza i can find in fairfax. just saw a coming soon sign in the new shopping center next to fair city mall, exciting!
Hey, Yummy Good Expert/Pizza guru/Sbarro rules/jimmy labarzzo...we get it, you work for Sbarro's at Fair Oaks. Go back to restaurant management 101 and understand that FFXU posting does not count as "Local Restaurant Marketing" you asswipe. Sbarro is not great pizza, it is NOT "Mom and Pop" with over 1000 locations.
You are not from NYC...just a douche-bag poser....STFU about Sbarro's Pizza!

Im in the annandale springfield area and I sure cannot find even edible pizza. I simply gave up eating the crap they call pizza here. Anyone know of decent pizza near me?
Tried Flipping Pizza last night off their truck and have to say it wasnt bad at all. Very thin crust right amt of sauce and very good cheese. Not gunked up like chain pizza.

You can't be too far from Valentino's, which is at 236 and Beauregard Street in an area called Lincolnia. A bit west of Landmark Mall. Outstanding pizza.

I think the person is just trying to get a rise out of people. You are so stupid that it worked.
