Just got this from FCPS:

Families in Fairfax County Public Schools may be able to get low-cost Internet at home through a national program that Cox Communications is participating in called Connect2Compete. If you have at least one child enrolled in the free school lunch program, you may be eligible for Internet service for only $9.95 a month and a free modem rental from Cox Communications. To learn more about the program and how to register, please call toll free 1-855-222-3252 or visit Connect2Compete.org/Cox

I said it before on here and I will say it again. Work is for suckers. Free or greatly reduced housing, food stamps, free breakfast and lunch, free medical and dental, welfare check, obamaphone and so on

It's pretty racist that on the cox page for "connect2compete" it onky shows a black family...
