My friend is home bound because she has health issues. and she said she has good grades, My question is does the home bound teacher assign her the grades or does her base teacher assign the grades? she attends West Springfield High school

The teacher does NOT also have to be home bound.

To answer your question though, no, the visiting teacher administers work provided by the school, and reports results back to the school, which ultimately decides the grade earned.

We have to use traveling teachers for the kids that refuse to attend school. Otherwise our dropout rates go way up.

It's a farce, of course, but farce is what we do best!
