This area is supposed to be only about a third hispanic, but the DMV looks to be about two thirds hispanic. Why?

Because the entire extended family goes along to the DMV.

Becuase people with money meet requirements online while, as always, people without money meet requirements in lines.

I, frankly, welcome the hordes trying to make it in our, and soon theirs as well, country, as this country welcomed my not-THAT-long-ago ancestors from Northern Europe.

True.....this is why I never set foot in a DMV office. I would pay somebody to go for me before I ever go again. I have seen one family of locust take up an entire row of seats. Then you get the mother screaming in Spanish at the kids and 2 or 3 of them screaming at someone in Spanish on their cell phone.

Nothing but Locust.

I guess illegals can't get credit/debit cards that easy. Even those prepaid cards you see at the 7-11 you have to provide a social security number to get one with your name on it- and a visa gift card can only do so much online.

Not to mention- a lot of them aren't that internet-savvy. Some don't even want to use the ATM or get cash back at a store using their pin, preferring to wait in line at the Bank (looking at you bank of america for giving them accounts) or checks cashed...

Ironically, I just came back from the Shoppers (picking up a prescription) and I also noticed that there was a long line of hispanics for the one checkout clerk but the self check lanes were empty---- the machines do work in spanish, it asks you that as the first question! Maybe they can't read the word spanish- it has to say "Espanol"?

Self check-outs don't take EBTs? As if I'll ever know. Or are the locusts too "low information" to be able to use them?

They do take EBT. They are just not technically inclined to use them.

Just like how instead of watching the 500+ channels of ENGLISH language programming on TV and at least make an attempt to learn and will watch Telemundo all day.

Especially the older ones, they just REFUSE to learn english (why should they when everythig is translated into spanish for them they just press 2?) I know if I was in El Salvador I would be watching THEIR language TV to at least TRY to learn more of the language.

If we went to an English-only policy watch how fast they would learn...

Eliminating the spanish language DMV materials would be a good place to start.

The driving manual, forms, and test should all be english only.

When the invasion is finished, all traffic signs will be in Spanish only.
