We got Thompson Creek gutters...they should last a lifetime and no cleaning needed. Expensive but no worries now.

Gutter guards are fine in some areas, but around here we get some heavy rains and certain styles of guards are useless. The rain just runs right past the gutters cause its coming down too fast.
As for cleaning out gutters, my neighbor gets his gutters cleaned out every spring and fall. Seems to be happy with it.
We clean our own gutters, it's really not difficult.

The past few years I have used Maple Leaf Rain Gutter Service. They are a real company with insurance and don't charge much more that the door-to-door guys. I wouldn't want to take the risk that one of those uninsured guys falls off my roof.

What has become of America? Cleaning your gutters, raking leaves and cutting the grass is part of home ownership. Only a chicken hawk pussy would hire these simple tasks out. Please have yourself castrated so others might understand.

Zzzzzz... I wouldn't move to 10 acres in Fairfax Station if I was paid. I don't even know how to get down there. You guys have mail service? Are you using satellite internet? Maybe when I'm old and I have a family my tone will change.
