There's a felony charge in Fairfax and I want to know which attorney is better to handle a felony case?

1) David Hall

2) John Keats


Please share if you have any personal experiences with either in a felony case.

I don't have experience with either. But Ben Matlock is great. Almost never loses. Even has his own PI. He will get you off. No doubt.

David Hall is good and has been a prosecutor for years in Vienna. He's been involved in Vienna football for a long time and is well connected behind the scenes. Back in the nineties he got me off on a second DUI and also a second speed to elude (separate case). Yes, I used to be a complete jackass.
Hall knows his shit and just as importantly, is connected and respected by his peers.

If you want a real attorney, look up Marvin Miller.

You have a felony? Trust me, Peter Greenspun out of Fairfax is the best defense guy there is..He is a high profile lawyer and has defended many people who were in the news. We had to hire him and he is as good as it gets. He is very expensive though...but worth it if you can afford him...His office is right in the heart of Fairfax. Look him up online, very impressive

One place to get recommendations for an attorney might be the Public Defenders Service. They are in court all day every day, they watch other lawyers in action, they recommend private attorneys to people who don't qualify for public defenders, and they know which pitbull prosecutors have gone into private defense practice. You might also call the bar association's legal referral service and get names of attorneys who specialize in your particular crime. "Felony" covers a lot of ground, and the attorney you want defending you on, say, an embezzling charge is probably not the same guy you want for an armed robbery.
