Fatal Stabbing in City of Fairfax

This is the only article I could find on the fatal stabbing that happened a few blocks from where I live, and the City's web site is useless, no posting in the crime section of the cty's web site.

Anyone else have any other information, such as the name of the victim?

Nevermind, I found it under the news releases, but not in the crime bulletin. Guess a murder doesn't warrant a listing in the crime bulletin - WTF?

Cedar Avenue is really spiraling downhill. I see it more and more listed in crime reports.

I guess Connoley can't take the hit on this one for his embracing of illegal immigrants because this one happened in the city limits

"City of Fairfax Police have identified the victim of a homicide which occurred on Saturday, August 16 as Adulio Bonilla-Morales, 36, a native of Honduras, of undetermined address. Officers responded to 10533 Cedar Avenue and discovered that Morales had sustained a fatal stab wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Juan De Dios Morales (no relation to the victim), 37, of the Cedar Avenue address, was taken into custody several hours later and subsequently charged with murder. "

This house where this happened is a boarding house - one of many in Fairfax City.

I bet if this was near the mayor's house, it would have been shut down long ago.
