Sounds like they got a good deal. Consider that If you look to your neighbors in Arlington, they have recently spent (or have contracted to spend) well over $110 million to replace each of their 3 main high schools: Washington-Lee, Yorktown, & Wakefield. When you consider the fact that THJSST will require classrooms and labs that are specified for more expensive technological upgrades and capabilities, $84 million sounds like a good deal.

Arlington is a bunch of incompetent clowns. They spent over $100 million to renovate their schools and reduced the schools' capacities right before an influx of white yuppies moved into Arlington and started breeding like they live in fucking Utah.

This is an invitation for bids. $84M is the FCPS estimate.

$84 mil to renovate the best high school in the country is a bargain when you consider that they are pissing away $57 mil on a new school bus garage.

This new garage will be staffed by the same jackleg "mechanics" that work there now. These sumbitches couldn't fix a wheelbarrow. Fortunately, all these "mechanics" do is very simple stuff like changing oil and brake jobs.

All the serious work like engines and trannies is sent out to private shops.

Why do they need a $57 million dollar state-of-the-art facility?
