Lots of police, helicopter in Springfield Estates

around 12:30 to 1:15, police cars going through neighborhood, helicopter flying slow and low, especially around Pioneer and Cimmaron. Any details?

OK, I did a search and didn't get an answer. But now they're overhead in Fairfax. Can someone clarify what's going on?

Yes, around 12:30 to 1:15, police cars going through neighborhood, helicopter flying slow and low, especially around Pioneer and Cimmaron, but now they're overhead in Fairfax.

An officer on a motorcycle just drove through my (very) small, quiet neighborhood in Burke Center. Very unusual; lived here for 10 years and only seen a cop twice. My guess is that somebody was reported missing/abducted.

Fairfax County Police tweeted "Investigating report of alleged sex assault in area of Cimarron St/Abilene St around 12:43 pm today. There is no confirmation about ties to previous cases in that district. No injuries to 17 y/o reporting the incident."

I specifically told VDOT and Fluor Transurban that if they couldn't keep it on their side of my fence, I was keeping it.

A local contractor has been hiring illegals and then murdering them at the end of the job to avoid paying them. FCPD got a tip that the bodies were buried here.
