Dogue Creek Park area, 4 a.m. Nov. 17. A woman was attacked by a male while sleeping at an acquaintance’s residence. An investigation is continuing.

ROBBERIES

Sheffield Village Lane, 7600 block, 6:50 p.m. Nov. 19. A group of four men robbed a pedestrian of his shoes and a cellphone at knifepoint.

Van Dorn St. S., 5700 block, 8:50 p.m. Nov. 19. A male forced a woman down an embankment, then robbed her of a purse at knifepoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Franconia Rd., 6100 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.

Frontier Dr., 6600 block, 9:35 a.m. Nov. 20. Cash was stolen from two businesses.

General Washington Dr., 5500 block, 10:40 a.m. Nov. 19. Electronics were among property stolen from a business entered through an unlocked door.

Gildar St. and Old Franconia Rd., Temporary tags were stolen from a vehicle.

Hooes Rd. and Lackawanna Dr., Tools were stolen from a business.

Kandel Ct., 4700 block. A credit card and cash were stolen from a vehicle.

Telegraph Rd., 5700 block, 4:45 a.m. Nov. 15. Cigarettes were stolen from a business entered by forcing a rear window.

Caleb Ct., 6400 block. A 2011 Honda Odyssey was stolen.

Gunston Cove and Cranford St., A 1990 Honda Prelude was stolen.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Carlin Springs Rd., 3400 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 18. A man looking into a bedroom window fled when confronted.

Patrick Henry Dr., 3000 block, 1:25 a.m. Nov. 20. A teenager being returned to her home after being reported missing threatened her mother and attacked a police officer. A 15-year-old was charged with assault on a family member and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Arlington Blvd., 6100 block. A purse was stolen from a business.

Arlington Blvd., 6100 block. Eyeglasses were stolen from a business.

Soapstone Dr., 2300 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 20. A juvenile male threatened a juvenile pedestrian and demanded his iPad. After a brief struggle, the assailant fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Barrel Cooper Ct., 11900 block. A jacket, a cellphone and electronics were among property stolen from a vehicle.

Chase Hill Ct., 9900 block. Cash was stolen from a school.

Coppers Ct., 11800 block. A GPS was stolen from a vehicle.

Karbon Hill Ct., 11700 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Locust St., 900 block. A cellphone was stolen from a school.

Oday Dr., 6100 block, 3:20 a.m. Nov. 17. Two men attacked two women who were leaving a party at a residence and refused to give them a ride.

Chantilly Shopping Center, 4300 block. Knives were stolen from a business.

Stonecroft Blvd., 4900 block. A bicycle was stolen from a residence.

INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENTS

Lafayette Forest and Patriot drives, 3:45 p.m. Nov. 16. A man in a vehicle exposed himself to a pedestrian.

ASSAULTS

Yellow Leaf Ct., 8400 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 18. A man struck an acquaintance, then restrained her family members when they tried to call police. A 35-year-old Maryland man was charged with domestic assault and with obstructing an attempt to contact law enforcement.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Barnack Dr., 6700 block. A cellphone was stolen from a school.

Burke Commons Rd., 6000 block. Electronic devices were stolen from a business.

Commons Dr., 4700 block, 6 p.m. Nov. 15. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door.

Hampton Rd., 10000 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Heathwick Ct., 6000 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Fairchester Dr. and Jancie Rd., 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1. A man attacked a fellow employee while they were riding in a vehicle. When the victim got out, the man drove the vehicle toward him. A 42-year-old Annandale man was charged with attempted malicious wounding and assault and battery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fairfax Blvd., 9500 block, 7:01 p.m. Nov. 14. A male stole merchandise from a store.

Fairfax Blvd., 11200 block, 1:48 p.m. Nov. 16. A debit card that had been reported stolen in Fairfax County was used to make an unauthorized purchase at a grocery store.

Governor Yeardley Lane, 4010 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 17 to 7 a.m. Nov. 18. Prescription sunglasses, golf balls and cigars were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Hill St., 3600 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 16 to 4:17 p.m. Nov. 18. A power washer was stolen from an unlocked shed behind a residence.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 5:28 p.m. Nov. 17. A man seen concealing merchandise was arrested at a store. A 25-year-old Wisconsin man was charged with petty larceny of medication.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 9:30 a.m. Nov. 20. A man seen concealing merchandise in a coat pocket was arrested at a store. It was determined that the same man had stolen merchandise from the store on Nov. 19. A 25-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with two counts of petty larceny.

Main St., 9400 block, 4:37 p.m. Nov. 18. A wallet was stolen from a shopper’s purse in a grocery store. A credit card from the wallet was used to make two unauthorized purchases.

Main St., 9400 block, 6:42 p.m. Nov. 18. A credit card from a wallet stolen in Fairfax County was used to make unauthorized purchases.

Main St., 10300 block, 5:27 p.m. Nov. 18. A female distracted a shopper while an accomplice took a wallet from her purse. When confronted, the accomplice took cash from the wallet and threw it to the floor. The two females then fled the premises.

Pickett Rd., 3900 block, 4:12 p.m. Nov. 14. A person who claimed to be a representative of a utility company tried to defraud the owner of a business by demanding money orders.

Rebel Run, 3500 block, 2 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15. An iPhone was snatched from a male’s pocket at a high school.

Schuerman House Dr., 3500 block, 7:30 a.m. to 11:55 p.m. Nov. 16. A break-in occurred at a residence. Property was moved around, but nothing was reported missing.

University Dr., 3000 block, Oct. 31 to Nov. 16. An iPad was stolen from a business. A former employee is suspected.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Old Lee Hwy., 3200 block, 3:43 a.m. Nov. 18. A rental truck that had been stolen in Fairfax County was found in a parking lot.

VANDALISM

Main St., 10400 block, 10:08 p.m. Nov. 18. A window was broken a gas station. A 24-year-old Rockville man was charged with destruction of property and public drunkennes

Broad St. W., 1100 block, Nov. 15. A man was seen concealing merchandise at a store. A 43-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with larceny.

Broad St. W., 1100 block, Nov. 15. A woman was seen concealing merchandise at a store. A 22-year-old Falls Church woman was charged with larceny.

Oak St. N., 2300 block, Nov. 19. A purse was stolen from a vehicle at a school.

VANDALISM

Broad St. W., 500 block, Nov. 14. Several light fixtures at a building were shattered by shot from a pellet gun.

Spring St., 600 block, 11:30 p.m. Nov. 16 to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 17. A bicycle was stolen.

Van Buren St., 700 block, 1:41 p.m. Nov. 14. A TV, a cable box and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

Westcourt Lane, 2200 block, 2 p.m. Nov. 13 to 9:35 a.m. Nov. 14. Cash and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing a windshield.

Worldgate Dr., 13000 block, 6:40 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12. A wallet was stolen from a locker at a gym.

VANDALISM

Alabama Dr., 1000 block, 2:50 a.m. Nov. 17. A vehicle window was smashed.

Elden St., 1100 block, 9:42 p.m. Nov. 18. A display case was broken at a business.

Spring St., 200 block, 11 a.m. Nov. 14. The paint-finish on a door of a company vehicle was scratched.

Spring St., 400 block, 9:58 a.m. Nov. 13. Obscene graffiti were written on a garage door at a residence.

Wilshire Dr., 1200 block, 2:30 p.m. Nov. 9 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15. A brick was thrown through a window at a residence.

Maple Ave. NW, 300 block, 9:30 a.m. Nov. 19. During a dispute over paperwork, a man threw a clipboard at a dental-office employee.

Cherry St. SE, 100 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 18. A bicycle light was stolen from a bicycle.

Hillcrest Dr. SW, 1000 block, 3:56 p.m. Nov. 15 to 3:56 p.m. Nov. 16. A GPS was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Maple Ave. W., 100 block, noon Nov. 5. A homeowner told police that a contractor who had been given full payment for countertop work at a residence could not be found. The incident is under investigation.

Maple Ave. W., 500 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 12 to 8:47 a.m. Nov. 16. A gas can containing a gallon of fuel was stolen from a residence. A leaf blower was damaged during the incident.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Windover Ave. NW, 300 block, 9:12 a.m. Nov. 20. A vehicle that had been reported stolen in Fairfax County was recovered.

ok, this IS generally a county PD report, but then it goes into City of Fairfax, then Town of Vienna. Dunno why OP titled it the way he/she did.........................

Here's the latest Fairfax City Police Report.
Oddly, there's no report of shoplifting, drunk in
public, or assaults at the Willard Way Safeway.
Weird. Must have been an off week.
