Yeah, if I was looking to put my parents in a senior home, the fist thing I'd noticed is if it was a Section 8 place. That was totally your mistake. You done fucked up.

Why are drug addicts and gang members living in a 55+ community in the first place? Does management allow random relatives to pile in with the old people? That defeats the whole purpose of senior communities. Just drop the age limit and call it what it is--Section 8!

Check with Sharon Bulova. Anything section 8 should be top shelf. Swimming pools, club rooms and saunas.

I pray for your loved one's safety. I am sorry, I cannot think of another solution except move her. I understand there may be financial reasons why that will not be easy, especially if she is of low income/resources.
This scares me, I have a close relative who is to the point we are looking into a home, and now I know to triple check and visit personally several times day AND night to see what type of people frequent the facility BEFORE I put her in there blindly.
For Forest glen, it says on their webpage they take vouchers- this is your clue they are Section 8. Also the fact they can't fix their website (look at the logo! I am using firefox and its all messed up!)

You obviously don't understand the purpose of a fire door. The front door doesn't need to be a fire door unless you are trying to keep the fire from spreading to the outside.
Fire doors are meant to prevent fires from spreading throughout the building, not stop noise.

sorry for your situation. but just move out. send your complaints to the department of health, police and zoning.
this area does have some very nice places, you will have to pay a lot for it, but its better than the situation you're in.
If you don't have the money to live in a nice place..well, you're fucked. That's the way it works around here.
I hope you find a solution to your problem, I would be pissed off also. best of luck.
