Great use of the search button... there are a few threads on the topic here already, no need for a new one.

I've been there, and it is an underwhelming experience---what do people actually expect to see there? However, there seems to be some leftover, negative energy. I'm sure it's haunted to some extent, but no one knows the truth about what or if anything happened there because of the conflicting stories. If you visit, don't stay long. The bridge is monitored and the neighbors get ticked.

Correction, the neighbors experience an orgasm when they call the police on people exploring the bridge.

There's an article in todays Washington Post saying a local group is making a movie about Bunnyman Bridge. The neighbors will just love that...more people visiting at midnight. Can't people take a joke?

Christ. This topic again? Wooo, negative energy. Riiight. It's a bridge in the woods on a one-lane road and is about as scary as a Kool Aid commercial. The only reason anyone even talks about it is because there isn't an abandoned house anywhere nearby that is old enough for people to make up stories about.

Is the bridge on private property?

All railroad tracks are on private property. The bunnyman bridge is owned by Norfolk Southern. There are no trespassing signs on the bridge. The neighbors do watch the bridge.

IMO unless the neighbors are the ones that actually OWN the land they should fuck off.

I can't speak for them but it is a secluded area, maybe they don't take kindly to strangers hanging out there.

Seriously. If they don't like living near a local landmark then they should move. The bridge was probably there long before those houses were built.

Some people have this weird thing about needing to control what other people do on state paved roads. And that bridge was built in the 1910's to replace the even older one a few yards up once they realigned the tracks in the area. Those houses weren't built until the 1980's. It's like moving into D.C. and then going to the city council to complain about "all those damn tourists".
