Books for America needs your used books!

Books for America is a DC-based charity, with offices in Fairfax, that takes book donations throughout the community and uses them to fill classroom libraries, hospitals, shelters, and the like.

What better time than now to de-clutter your house, and get rid of some of those old books that have been gathering dust?

No, they are real. They have a warehouse space off Pickett Road in Fairfax for sorting, packing, etc. That's the 703 number

They appear to do good work, but they sure are picky about the kind of books they'll accept (e.g., not hardcover fiction).
