Thanks, GB, you rock. Didn't even know about this. Donation sent.
Poor munchkin, hope she gets better soon. Poor parents, how very frightening.
Groovy ghoul, you suck. Ante up quick. Karma bites

It's uplifting to see folks rally to this. When I was a kid, my younger sister had a friend that had been horribly burned over 60% of her body. If I remember the story correctly, she had climbed up on the kitchen counter next to the stove to get something for her mother from a cabinet, and her nightgown brushed against a burner on the stove. This was the 60s so her clothes burst into flame.

She spent the night at our house once and I recall looking at her the following morning at the breakfast table. Her pajamas were kind of loose and I could see the mottled flesh running down her arms and on her chest (hey she's only about 7 and I'm about 9). So I asked her, "did it hurt", and she said "yes, a lot".

I've never had gas in the house once I was old enough to decide, and I don't use my fireplace. Burning is the most painful thing a person can experience, I'm told, and my heart goes out to this girl.

This little girl is my cousin...this was a very unfortunate thing that happened. She forunately, is at a great hospital and it great hands. Prayers are needed more than anything else. She is in alot of pain :(

Ever been anally violated? That's more painful than burning. When your skin burns, your nerves are melted in the process so, you stop feeling it.

Also, reading any of GordonBlvd's posts are also pretty grueling...especially when she goes Lolz or puts up an *epic* pic unrelated. If it's unrelated...why post it, ya' know?
