Country Folk

Hey, I'm having a really hard time adjusting to this Northern VA life. I'm from Southwest VA, and it is completely different. Where do down-home country folk hang out, like on the weekends?

It is funny, i just retired to SWVA from a lifetime in NOVA. Hopefully this will help you!? You are now completely surrounded by self-important, stuck up Yuppies and third world terrorist's. The price of everything in your life just went up 300% I could go on and on but i don't want to spoil the surprise. Just remember when you feel completely lost and at the end of your rope just remember one word "DIVERSITY" and everything will be all right. There are a couple of good things up in NOVA. Here are two. You no longer have to drive 20 miles to score some beer and when in dought about anything call 911. They are very nice people and have no problem charging you $800 for a ride to the emergency room! Be advised your next door neighbors will turn you into the cop's if they see you: Smoking too close to their property line, burning leaves, talking too load, some of your tree's blew leaves over the fence into their yard, you get the idea. One more peace of advise. The women in NOVA are only for looking. They don't appriciate a good grooping the way the women in SWVA do. Good luck to you up there....DRINK HEAVLY!!!

Hell, I found out it's all hurry up and wait in this area, when i vacation I go to smith mountain lake, far away from the this area. If assholes could fly, this place would be an international airport.
I'm sorry you had to move here.It has been killing me slowly.

Take a little trip to peppers lounge in Culpeper to hang with real country folk. The place is attached to the Best western and they have rooms for about 50 bucks. Have a honky tonk good time then crash in a nice safe motel room.

Yeah, I figured that out. I'm in school up here, and pretty much nothing is the same as back home. I think everyone that commented are male, but from a female perspective, forget about dating! The guys are just not the same. Oh well, thanks everyone :)

You should try being a single guy dating in this shit hole. I have never experienced anything like it. just shallow cold women, not all of them, but a damn good percent. They are all looking for a payday, or are just too busy to date.

And yet your life is so boring or worthless in SWVA that you feel the need to come back to a troll haven like FFX underground just to talk about how much you hate FFX.

Everyone not from here and not liking it here, get the fuck out. More jobs for those of us actually from here who created this economic engine that you worthless carpetbaggers keep complaining about.

Stupid bitch

Oh and I forgot to tell you that your spelling and grammar indicate you never actually were from Fairfax, otherwise your writing skills wouldn't be akin to a 7 year old down syndrome patient from hicktown USA.

Awwwww bless your heart

And, I'm not saying I don't like it here. I do! It's just different, is all. I'm trying to adjust!

If you're from the country and like mudding, hunting, bulding bonfires, fishing and so on you might as well look into transferring schools where that stuff is more accessible.

This area will make you dull and uninteresting

I'm actually not whining at all. It was a simple enough question that dignified a response, not meant to spark an argument. And, it seems like everyone, you included, are using aliases - what makes me the exception? However, to respond to that - it's just a nickname.

People are far more stupid in the south. They try to pass it off as being a slower pace of life, but really they are all retarded.

VA is in the south too, dipshit.

Itis totally different up here.. I'm from swva myself and while nova will never be like home its not that bad.. There are plenty of nice people and places around.. I live in Culpeper and its might not be as bad as Fairfax but its still nothing like swva.. Peppers isn't a bad place just try and go when the Dry Run band is playing.. As far as mud bogging and trail riding there is plenty of that around as well if thats whats your into..
