Valedictorians?

I hear that Fairfax County is eliminating the Valedictorian classification, beginning with the 2008 high school graduating class.

Any truth to this??

It wouldn't surprise me. We certainly wouldn't want to offend anyone or make anyone feel alienated. I mean, nothing like that ever happens in the "real world." Only nice, happy things ever happen there.
