Not the only loser from the great team of 2011. Public school produces this behavior and attitude. Some schools like Lake Braddock sports is all they can hang their hat on. Football is for goons very few student athletes come from the football program. The head to head violence of this "sport" does take its toll on the brain. Today’s self adoring coaches are not the role models for young men. All the hype for Friday night football is not worth the parking lot stabbings after the game. Obnoxious parents are out of control if not running up and down the sidelines taking pictures and creating web sites of the next "Drew Brees". Look at the NFL, the sportsmanship has been totally removed from the game, there is no doubt that level of violence in the stadium and on the field will result in a homicide this year, and sorry to say it may be a referee.

In the mug shot he looks mildly mentally disabled. Those low set, misshapen ears say it all.

Public schools and the sport does not prove to be the common denominator in the horrible incidents. Alcohol is the problem. I would bet a troll's life that this would not have happened if the kid wasn't lit up like a Christmas Tree.

This young man has been trouble since he was in my child's 6th grade class. While plenty of teens do dumb stuff -- especially where alcohol is involved -- most are still good kids at heart. I haven't heard the same about this individual. The comments made through the years are more about meanness and downright bad character than issues with substances. Unfortunately, at LBSS star athletes are protected to the extreme especially when their daddies have influence (to the tune of a $200k contribution to the turf field). Unfortunately, coddling a troubled young man and helping him avoid consequences and counseling only served to put off his day of reckoning. Unfortunately for him, now he's of legal age and facing much more serious penalties than he would have as a juvenile.

If you believe that at some level all kids want to be good, but some just require more adult oversight and hands on care to be that way, I feel sorry for him. And for parents out there whose kids struggle because they are not academically gifted or one of the star athletes, here's proof that character counts in real life.

This kid made many people's life hell. And that fake ID? Most of them are compliments of the 2011-12 LB wrestling team managers. I'm glad my kids are all out of LB.

Not too much unlike the banjo playing inbred in 'Deliverance'.
