Agree with the overall feeling of this thread. I live in Vienna, and Church Street Cellars looked like a cool place to hang for a glass of wine. But one visit was enough. The prices were high, which I could understand on some level, it's a business and the rent is probably very high. The automated pouring machines are momentarily interesting if you have never seen a system like that in action before. Our food was inedible, and probably the worst food I have been served by an establishment in a decade, just awful. The owner seemed pretentious and rude. It wasn't a welcoming place at all, and it seemed like an imposition just to get an employee to explain the system to us,and then it was done in a begrudging manner. The food, the service, and the self-important attitude of some, not all, of the employees/owner, was enough for me and my wife to agree, we would never spend a dime in that place again. And if anyone asks I freely recount my one miserable experience CSC, where the other patrons were more helpful than the people who worked there. Usually,I would give an establishment a second chance, but there was so much wrong during our only visit... you can't buy that kind of bad advertising.
