I guess if you want to be technical, I am the smartest person in the room right now. But looking at a phrase and demanding that it only has one meaning and can only be interpreted that way shows you lack critical thinking. Rigid interpretations = bad, especially when it comes to reading comprehension. And who are you to say that OP wasn't calling them zombies or lifeless corpses?
