I saw James one year at HFSTival... he dropped a massive number of condoms from a big net above the crowd.
Nobody picked one up. Score one for safe sex.
And then there was the fateful cranberries concert on the mall.. anyone remember that incident? The cranberries got run off the stage during a midafternoon weekday concert. It was free and so many people showed up that nobody could control the crowd. People stormed the stage in the middle of song two, and grabbed the instruments right out of their hands and started throwing them out to the crowd while the band made their escape. I skipped school to go, good times..

Anything but Country (not a band, but a statement)
she probably just hasn't heard any real amount of beastie boys
plus she listens to the like (a horribly average band) and system of a down's puking mess so consider the critic, although sytem of a down is interesting live, they were with slayer once and gave those old men a run for their money. fucking loud.
Yes - her music is all about teenage angst and "I hate my parents" LPs. I had a phase like that too - back in Jr HS - except I was a skater and was into the punk scene. Anyone remember the jump ramp boxes set up at Rutherford Pool and Little Run Elementary in the late 80s / early 90s? Cedar Crest?
If you go to last.fm (that's the URL), they have a service where you specify bands you like, at it tries to determine of other stuff you'd like too and plays it in their player. The player itself has a good/bad indicator button so it can refine selections. I have made a few purchases of music I didn't even know about after using last.fm.
I think § hit the nail on the head with the "teenage angst and I hate my parents" comment about Tina's musical taste... which makes me wonder why she didn't list mindless self indulgence. MSI are my personal fave and full of angsty teen rebellion. they also happen to be one of the most creative bands out there. shock value with substance. check them out!
