Chuck caught Hell for losing his neutrality by endorsing a candidate/party on Mike's show, that was why BOR took a shot at him...the dig about the studio really burned Mike's butt and was one of the first times I remember Mike using the "we're feeding our families" rally that did NOT pertain to a fleecing of rubes...He has since used it as an excuse several times, my favorite being when the lame phone prank failed because they forgot to block their name before calling and it showed up on the prankee's caller ID

Why do they play 3 to 4 Tech 411 promos every week if the show only tapes once every 6 weeks? Only 3 episodes in 201 7...That is Political Persuasions territory
Why does Robb always read a prep service list for the opening when Mike is off? This jewel was "Things you can't ship UPS"...It was riveting...look forward to about 10 more
When commenting on TV shows, Robb made a reference to hating a show so much, he NEVER misses an episode because he enjoys watching how BAD it is...I know exactly how he feels
• Prep Service Lists
• Over-the-top laugh
• "Boss" DJ Voice
• Same tired jokes told over and over and over.
• Many music facts sprinkled in (In Robb's case, all incorrect.)
Robb, who makes fun of hack DJ's actually is a hack DJ.
And I agree with Robb in that 'The Middle' is the best show on TV these days.
[I'd write this on their so-called 'fan page' or some such facebook place, but I've been blocked for some time now, for reasons unknown to me. I can't understand their business model -- banning listeners from going to their pages which they constantly reference in their show. How can they expand their base if they keep it to a limited, selected few?]

Want to see something surprising for any fan of "The Middle"?
In the days that LFF has been out, O5car has completely stopped his moronic high-pitched cackling, which I'll take as solid proof that that feedback is an order from Mike. Headdd still cackles more, and about less funny things, than nearly any other human being would, but his output has slowed, too. But never fear, because intern Ashley cackles incessantly like a loon, oftentimes about things she has no way of understanding. She was intolerable today, although she saved face somewhat with her story about ripping a long loud fart in a calc final.
How many lists since Mike left? It's like every Bonus show before Mike left. Blobb needs lists when not playing top 60's songs on old 45s to run a show. Did Don make him a list guy?
VCU Communications Degree = Standing in line at Safeway finding lists in the mags...
So fucking lazy...
Everyone is talking soooooo fast. Interns speak better than talent even if Ashley needs a ball gag. It is radio from the basement of the science building. Sounds like 1 1/2 x on an IPhone. O does not sound like this with Dukes. The chemistry is so bad.
I never though I would miss Mike. Maybe the irony of hating his lib/rich guy/poor guy stick is better than this?
Mike O'Meara calling into the show today (and complaining about Klubber comments) "we first of all generate more content than any podcast anywhere anyhow". Oh really?

Mike is a very unlikeable character -- a bullying, petulant, lazy, selfish, ignorant and opinionated slob. It is amazing that Robb and Oscar defer to him as if he's someone worthy of their respect.
Still, I listen regularly. But then I also watch Real Housewives. There must be something about following the antics of stupid people behaving stupidly.

Oh, I thought you meant the Don who has shit on ever partner and relationship he's ever had in his life, including his parents, his wife, his brother, his daughter, Mike, Robb, Buzz, and every radio sidekick he had after leaving TMOS. You know, the one who got wasted during his live show, told old, tired stories he'd told a hundred times on the radio, then fell off the stage and almost killed himself, then turned around and filed a workers comp claim against his employer. The guy who everyone who has ever worked with him despises. Sorry, guess I had the wrong guy.

Maybe, just maybe, Don needed Mike as much as Mike needed Don? Not so sure Don left him a "hit radio show". Don pretty much checked out after Freda died. He thought it would be great to use '60's radio reverb on a guy talk show. Brilliant. Not his fault that Freda died, but going on air to tell a story about how he slept with Janet six months after his wife died was despicable.
The laughing sycophants in the BOAD monkey gallery make that podcast unlistenable. Apparently, they've been conditioned to laugh at anything Dukes says. Compared to them, Spewak's fake laughing at O'Meara on TMOS sounds remarkably restrained.
Someone please hire Cackling Ashley for the love of God. Can you imagine if she was on mic? She's worse than Oscar or Spewak. That's the nicest thing I've ever said about Spewak.

Gee, I wonder why his son had trouble accepting his step-mom for the longest time?

At that age she's his dad's new wife, not his step-mom. You really are the poster child for "obsessing over other men's lives and wives". Mind if I call you John Normand? And wish that you get AIDS and die?

So the boys of TMOS are fair game, but Don isn't? Wow, you are a special kind of hypocrite, aren't you?
BTW, step-mom, dad's new wife, what difference does it make? I'm thinking the fact that his dad went on a national radio show and bragged about sleeping with a woman he had just met made him feel great, considering his mom had recently died. But hey, it was a story for Don to tell and that's all he ever cared about. Other people's feelings, even his grieving son's, not so much.
Difference between someone being fair game (Don is) and the poster being an agenda driven douche who's never had his wife crushed to death in a head-on collision. If you have a problem with that I will light a candle for you, bless your heart.

Come on IHP, every single poster on here has an agenda, they just aren't all the same. If Don were a great guy to everyone else, I would cut him enormous slack for the tragedy he endured if he weren't such an asshole to everyone else in his life.
BTW, I have no problem with Mike or anyone else getting called out on here. If that is your bag, bless your pea-pickin little heart.

So you have no problem about speculation on Robert or Rosie's sexuality? Interesting. You're more broadminded than I.
I'm at a disadvantage here because I don't know EVERYONE DON GERONIMO HAS EVER KNOWN, but clearly you do. The douche OP mentioned his brother Gym as someone he's mistreated, but Gym still takes Don's calls on the show. You get a candle too.
I'm getting a whiff of singed anus and John Normand sockpuppets.

Nope, I agree with one of the previous posters who said kids should be off limits. If you're speaking of Rosie O'Donnell, I think she has been pretty public about her sexuality.
I don't know everyone your hero Don has ever known, but the ones I do know have all been treated the same way, as a commodity for him to use. Same goes for his brother, Don uses him as fodder. I should say he used to at least. I sure as hell wouldn't pay a dime to listen to that has been these days.
Okay, fair enough. Don's not my hero, I just cut anyone whose wife got crushed to death in a headon collision an enormous amount of slack before I criticize how he conducts his personal life. Don seems to be one of those guys who always needs to have a dog and a wife. I know guys like that IRL.
Remember Don used to give Gym a lot of money. Gym used to have a Jaguar. You say fodder, I say good radio.
I don't pay to listen, same as TMOS.
So who do you know? Or is "the ones I do know" just something one says?
I am just at a week behind...again...last Monday and Tuesday's shows destroyed the theory that TMOS is better WITHOUT Mike...Those shows were fucking unlistenable
Well, we disagree on that. Enjoy the first show with Mike back and report on your experience.
What is this "studio" that Oscar was "building" (setting up computers) in a space they've apparently been paying for in Manassas for a couple years? Damn that sure makes me want to buy my 3rd and 4th Bonus Show packages!!!

Trust me, I'm not saying he shouldn't have remarried, I just think bragging on the air about bedding Janet only six months after the tragedy was insulting to Freda and disrespectful to his son.
I know quite a few of his associates and their feelings towards him are universal. Just not a good dude.
Yeah, I remember the used, $10K Jaguar. For a guy who was pulling down millions a year at the time it was a small price to pay to get stories for his show.

Still waiting to hear who you knooooooeeeewwww. In the knoooooeeeewww. Now it's "quite a few of his associates". Apparently those people don't have names. Until you name them I'm calling "Liar liar pants on fire". If you actually know people the obvious conclusion is that you are yourself reviled. All signs point to Normand. Bro chill. You love you some Doni, dontcha? Yeah, like I'm gonna out people on a public forum. Right. BTW, it's head-on, not headon. Learn to listen and listen to learn. Peace out.
Chris Core, Scott Shannon, Larry Lujack, Weasel, everyone in Sacramento, G. Gordon Liddy, Ron & Fez, Opie & Anthony, Steve Dahl, .... it'd be hard to find someone in radio who doesn't know Don. So you're either John Normand or Charles Broyhill or Craig Coleman. Or, ... even worse, ... NOBODY!!! A listener.
Yet you can't name ANYONE. Because you don't want to "out" anyone "in a public forum". You are gayer than any child Robb Spewak could father in any conceivable universe. Don't fret, bro, I'm stone cold chillin' here at the ammo dump.
BTW, bro, it's "don'tcha" not "dontcha". Learn to listen and listen to learn. Eat a peach.

They would have been shorter and involved Robb getting ridiculed...How is that not an improvement?
Be careful what you wish for. Anyway, we'll all find out soon enough. Meanwhile I will treasure the days without the alcoholic brain damage of the marquee name constantly asking questions because he doesn't hear or remember what happened a few seconds earlier. Don't mean to snap at you but I've lost my patience with Spongiform Mike.
'Musicologist' Headdd Spewsack takes the easiest possible route (surely the one one he had) to a tribute to Greg Allman, playing Whipping Post (a guitar showcase, not keys or vocals) and I'm No Angel, an accidental solo hit. He then replayed them during LFF's news item on Allman. Nothing that actually highlights him, like Melissa or Ain't Wasting Time No More or Midnight Rider.

Not defending Robb's musical knowledge (everyone in the world knew Mandy was originally titled Brandy), but there is a pretty damned good Hammond organ part in Whipping Post and I'm No Angel was a big hit.
