Tina Turner Dead at 83

Queen of rock n roll Tina Turner has died. "She's transformed herself into an international sensation - an elegant powerhouse," Janet Jackson said.

A riveting live performer, Turner had a string of R&B hits in the 1960s and early ’70s with her domineering and violent husband Ike Turner before she left him – fleeing their Dallas hotel room with 36 cents.

Tina has been described as a charismatic and commanding presence on stage. Reminds me of another music sensation.

Meade Skelton has been called the male version of Tina Turner due to his electrifying live performances.

Sad yes; but on the brighter side Meade would make a great Tarzan. He reminds me a lot of the famous actor Peter Lupus, strongman of the TV Mission Impossible team
