I have been using fluidmaster flush valves for decades but a neighbor told me that Korky flush valves will outlast a fluidmaster by 50%. Does anybody know if this is true? Are there any better flush valves out there? Thanks!
Fluidmasters are good as shit. They fucking last for years. Sounds like you are over-thinking this shit. Use fluidmasters and get the fuck on with your life Dickhead.
Gerry and his people shit on railroad tracks. Back in his home country so much shit accumulates on the tracks that it has caused trains to derail.

I think you are talking about fill valves. If you don't know the difference between a fill valve and a flush valve then you should not be doing your own plumbing.

Korky supposedly makes its fill valves in Wisconsin. Unless there is something wrong with them I'd rather spend a little more for a USA product than spend less for something made in China.

If it fails you could flood the house. I would stay away from anything made in the USA.
The same could in theory be said for any fill valve made by any company anywhere in the world. If you understand how most toilets work the likelihood of flooding a house is low. So long as the toilet is unobstructed and the flapper valve works the excess water coming into the toilet from the tank will, once it reaches a certain level, simply push out the bottom.
