Perhaps, one day, someone will look back on this period in our Nation’s history, will study the ample evidence and rightly conclude that, in the beginning of the twenty-first century, the United States was governed by charlatans and crooks. That person will write a book. The cast of characters will be enormous. The people who read the book will be shocked.

Until that time, though; it’s over. There are no white knights to expose them. Given its enormity, The Swamp successfully protected itself. So successfully, that a Presidential election was thrown and a demented old man took the reigns of power.
