Countries the a United States could not beat in a war

In no particular order ;
Russia
Turkey
Iran
China
North Korea
Really small list, but this is just of the ones US is not on good terms. Many others who we are on good terms with would beat US if relations soured. The illusion of US military superiority has been in full effect for a good 30 years. In event of a black swan military confrontation, we would not have much of an edge over even middling military powers.

We would fuck Russia and China up badly, but also take some horrible damage ourselves. Would not be worth it to either party.
North Korea could be nuked into oblivion, they would launch a few, maybe hit Honolulu or Portland but we would come out on top.
A ground war would be ugly with North Korea, Iran or Turkey because they have many troops.

Size of military has no real influence on an outcome with any nation. Iraq lost the Gulf for reasons other than their military wasn’t “big” enough. The Red Army was 2nd largest in the world during 1940s and lost badly to Finland’s army of skiiers and snowboarders in the Winter war. US could not beat smaller N Korean army in Korea and tactically got its ass handed to it in Nam.

Well we've always lost to Russia and North Korea. Russia has better technology and weapons with more experience. North Koreans are just crazy fucks.

North Korea is riddled with 70 years of building man traps concrete machine gun nests artillery positions and bunkers with mountains and valleys and ice cold harsh winters not to mention the million plus harden troops they have with nothing to lose but face which they honor and today weak Democrats have no honor that's why they attack unarmed statues at night and try to rewrite history to make some other weak people happy while unconstitutionally attacking our own constitutional right to keep and bear arms which is one of Americas defenses as they coddle criminals with early release from prisons
