Tolerable, but not great. The original Jerry's near Wheaton Plaza, gone but not forgotten, was great. The old Pollock who owned it used to just tell the counter person your bill, even though he had it written. Usually, it was a lot less than what you really owed. Every once in a while, it was a little more, but, you didn't say anything because of all the times you paid less than what you owed. Every once in a while somebody tried to say something, but we quickly slapped a hand over his mouth and told him to shut the hell up and pay up. We even offered to give him the difference, if it meant that much to him.
That old Pollock must be dead for years, by now. I think he made more money from the franchise agreement than he did selling sandwiches in that one place in Wheaton.
