If he did he would brag and perhaps embellish the thing, a Good Conduct would be a Battle Star. You have to be in 3 years for a Good Conduct, I think he was in 18 months. No Rambo. if that is what you are hoping.

Col Kodak and eesh were both in the army and are now partners in a pizza franchise.
Fun fact: Tom Monaghan, the founder of Dominos, was a USMC veteran and sold his stake for approximately $1 billion in 1998.

A lot of different types of companies try to attract veterans to run their franchises. ServPro, Terminix, various insurance companies, etc. really focus on military hiring events. I had army buddy who did quite well with ServPro.
