A Birmingham, Ala., police officer has been charged with rape, less than a month after being charged with child sex abuse, police said.
Joshua Herbinger, 29, was charged with first-degree rape of an adult woman Monday.

Earlier this month, Herbinger was charged with four counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
