Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
I am still not sold on this drug, but all the research I did online and even visiting GNC/Vitamin shoppe, people are raving about it. A news clip I watched even said its similar to the pill from the movie Limitless.
So anyone here tried it or has any recommendations.
Yes, I have tried, buddy. How can I describe my nootropics experience? I can just tell you have become more focused, mentally stable, and productive. I see that are interested, so I am leaving the link - https://tonusjournal.com/brain-health/qualia-smart-drug/ - with the information.
gnc is hurting since the 80's when it opened and desperate for attention - since about ginseng stopped being raved about

the truth is quality vitamins help (esp. people with gi disorders) but that TOO MANY can cause ORGAN DAMAGE
quality daily chewables are ok (the swallow only ones are NOT: they are %100 fake and go straight through your body without any digestion. our Congress let's them pay fines to keep ripping people off. assholes)
but THEY ARE NOT REALLY DAILY - because daily will cause problems.
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT - meaning farm fresh foods in the suggested quantities

REALLY? THEY ARE PROBABLY MADE IN CHINA? since clinton and obama deregulation of FDA i'm unsure i'd trust ANY pill. they are un-regulated. even if they were found to be poison it would be covered up and at most they'd pay fines
I have tried Niacin. It is a great none drug supplement to reduce both cholesterol and triglycerides which is one of the building bock for cholesterol. Another good source is Omega 3 fish oil and just like the commercials a bowl of cheerios in the morning. You can read info on it on https://www.fvkasa.org/english/health/detox/niacin-pills-drug-test
I can say that I tried nootropics, namely modafinil. This is a pretty useful nootropic that makes you feel less tired. If you are interested, I can share an article with you on this topic. Here is the link https://buyarmodafinil.com/ . Read, here is some pretty useful information
Nowadays, the market is flooded with untested quick fixers like I tried back then. I may have gotten out of the game with no major side effects, but I would be cautious and do your research before attempting anything. You better try something like this (but if you over due it with the wrong mix you can get some bad side effects).

When you get to nootropics, I recommend that you consider investing in a lifestyle-based objective measure of your cognitive abilities. The game of Tetris (the classic cascade-failure version, where the game speeds up over time). Online assessments with brain-training systems, like Luminosity and Quantified-Mind. Even simple memory tests at home, like Concentration, in which you time how long it takes to clear the table of cards by pairing them up. There are a thousand ways to do this.
I think we're yet to see a significant effect. It's not really worth doing something if the effects aren't noticeable. That also goes for diets, supplements and everything else that's purportedly "good for you", but ends up making no difference after all.
I didn't take nootropics myself, but I had to give them to my child. Unfortunately, there are cases when such meds are the only way out. But it is essential to address a doctor and never take them without a prescription. You can check the info about them on the Online Pharmacy site.
