"He's lying his a-- off," Jones said about Trump's claim of saving 1,100 jobs. "That's not just my feeling. The numbers prove he's lying his a-- off. It's a damn shame when you come in and make a false statements like that."

The democrats have been trying to break up corrupt unions for years. They are heavy fundraisers for republicans.
Trump is barking up the wrong tree with union bosses.

Here we go... Trumptards now trying to blame democrats for all of Trump's decisions.
Trump is the one making the decisions. It's Trump fault and only Trumps fault!

You need to learn economics. The jobs are going oversea because workers cost $5 a day to do brainless jobs. Basic supply\demand curve.
Trump wants to save US jobs by putting up tariffs. The Wharton Business school must really suck ass if Trump thinks tariffs work.

Is that why Obama put a 552% tariff on Chinese steel?

The people standing with Trump were people from the local area. Not from Carrier.

Chuck Jones is a chain smoker, whose office building (with a great big no smoking sign on the front entrance) is furnished like a church basement from the 1960s, with lots of ashtrays.
His number one objective is to ensure dues are collected.

That's what ever union is about now. However union members take any words from the their bosses very seriously. Trump pissing off middle class blue collar workers and unions is just pure stupidity and ego.

Unions were created to keep big business from railroading the workers in factories into 18 hour days with $1 pay. This was before the minimum wage and OSHA.

And that was a great thing.
Now unions railroad workers into paying dues and supporting politicians that line the pockets of corrupt union officials and mobsters.

I paid $80 every 2 weeks to the food service union for the pleasure of slinging hot dogs and nachos at Phillies games.

How much did you make every two weeks?
What benefit did you get?

Part time so I might net $400-$600 if I could get the hours so that $160 a month could have gone a long way. I understand dues are dues, but seeing the union bosses drive around in their loaded SUV's and luxury sedans while I'm taking the bus to work from the row house I have to share with 3 other schmucks doesn't feel like a benefit.

Be thankful the union protected your job and benefits.

The point is that the union guy called out Trump on the number of jobs saved, noting that it was something like 650 not 1100 (typical Trump exaggeration), and in response Trump doesn't (1) admit he was wrong (har!); or (2) say that the union guy was wrong (he can't). He attacks the union guy personally (and vaguely) on an unrelated issue.
That's Trump. He lies, and when he's called on the lie, he responds with personal attacks. He did it the whole campaign and he'll do it for the next 4 years.

We still don't know all the details of the "Trump Deal" just that part of the deal was Carrier would get a $7 million dollar tax break and government subsidies.

Hush, you only need to know what Trump says happened. Don't listen to any reporters or these Carrier employees.
