It's comical that you would appeal to "the silent majority," a phrase and concept made famous by Richard Nixon.
On second thought, you two do have some things in common. You go after Republicans the way Nixon used to go after the Reds -- with rabid partisan fervor, rarely scrupling to get your facts straight.
And in the end, the question must be asked, Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?
(Yes, I know that was asked of McCarthy, but it might as well been asked of Nixon - or yourself.)
On the other hand, Nixon was quite intelligent, and for all his woodenness, had a certain style and charm, whereas you lack all three.
And there actually was a Silent Majority that supported Nixon (they elected him).
But any such "silent majority" in your case is strictly a figment of your imagination.
What handle will you next grab for as you slide down the slippery slope to oblivion? The Moral Majority, perhaps? You and Jerry Falwell? Two peas in a pod, in some respects..........................
