I agree. That's why Yuck is trying to claim that Mt Weather is some super-secret NSA/AT&T facility. Because he/she wouldn't have a clearance to know about it if he's/she's talking about it.
I can talk about the true purpose because I drove out there to pick up my mom one time in 1987 when her car wouldn't start after spending a week there. I know she was working on a Continuation of Government contract with a company that was eventually bought by Booz-Allen and Hamilton, working with FEMA and the State Department. It's not really classified. I mean, the information they dealt with was classified, but the contract and the purpose of the facility are not classified. It's a big hollowed out mountain that they have placed hundreds of trailers inside of, with bunkbeds in some, offices in others and kitchens and dining rooms in others.
So, in a way, it is part of the bunkers where the government goes in emergencies, but mostly grunt-level government workers. We're talking stuff like infrastructure, IRS, Social Security, FEMA medical and food supply stuff, etc.
