*They* say construction will start later this year. Prior, *they* said construction would start earlier this year. Maybe, take what *they* say with a grain of salt. Iodized, not kosher.

Scout on the Circle Promises to Put the Luxe in Luxury
August 15, 2016
Big things are happening in Fairfax. You may have noticed, just around the corner from your new luxury townhome at Metro Row, heavy machinery gathers:
Say goodbye to the old, and hello to the new Scout on the Circle.
…Fairfax Circle, that is.
Construction is expected to begin on a new mixed-use development within the city of Fairfax later this year. When complete, Scout on the Circle will feature 400 luxury apartment homes, as well as 28 thousand square feet of small shop retail space and 54 thousand square feet of grocer space. Residents and visitors alike will enjoy convenient and easy access to Route 50; close proximity to the Vienna Metrorail station, regional bike trails, and I-66; two spacious parking garages and ample lot parking; a large plaza, an active streetscape, and an overall bright, inviting atmosphere.
Scout on the Circle promises to infuse a bit of life back into the Fairfax Circle neighborhood, with a breathtaking intentional community that effortlessly combines the perks of city life with that sense of suburban ease northern Virginians have come to know and expect.
The project, for which construction is expected to begin later this year, will cost $160 million.
