Clifton, Virginia is a nice place to visit. It is as if someone is stepping back in team as they view the oldest buildings and reading the historical markers. The history of Clifton, which can be found around the internet, is fascinating for those who have not lived there. It is like a history lesson outside the ordinary, stuffy class rooms. Taking walking tours in groups or alone is nice. Anyone who's planning on an all-day get-away from their own hometown, well; come out for a visit. Enjoy the sites, sounds, towns-people. Sound of the train is rather cool rumbling like thunder though the town. Very, very cool, especially for the kids.

I gave up riding in this area years ago. Riding a motorcycle around here you have to have eyes in the back of your head. With the addition of cell phones and idiots texting while driving it is too dangerous.
The last time was when a lady in a mini van looked right at me and then turned left in front of me. I had to apply full brakes and stopped just in inches from her van. Had I been killed I am certain she would have gotten a fail to yield ticket and nothing more. I had a Harley with the always on lights and it was broad daylight plus I had loud pipes.
To ride in Fairfax and most anywhere else if you are going straight ahead and see a car facing you signaling to turn left you have to assume they will turn without yielding. Lost count of how many times that happened.

I do not ride around Northern Virginia as much as I used to. Personally, it is asking for a fatal accident riding around in congested traffic. And sadly to mention, there's countless distracted drivers behind the wheels of cars and trucks. People are not paying attention while driving.
Case in point: Drivers are not being safe while operating their metal machines and have chosen to be distracted with their own DRAMA BEHIND THE WHEEL.
I've lost more than 20 brothers, sisters due to the general public's senseless and stupid, driving.

Look, in the past ,I have done alot of dumb things on a motorcycle.None of us here know enough of the facts surrounding this case to make any usefull conclusions.I met Timmy a few times and he seemed ok to me . Not wonderfull, gushing with goodness, an aura of positive energy emanating from his person etc. I have ridden for 40 + years and should by all probability theory should be seriously maimed or dead. Fate is a funny thing.If something should happen to me while engaged in a self chosen dangerous activity , do not cry.
