Post Office is a miserable place to work. Horrible managers hire their relatives, and then promote them. There's a reason why employees go postal.
Frankly, the fed government has become a horrible place to work, no security, low-average pay (with no potential for high pay), unqualified managers, and anti-white male sentiment (agencies literally have to fill out forms for OPM justifying a white male hire saying they considered minorities and women -- extra paperwork and aggravation for agencies -- thanks Obama. Also, there are a lot of women managers, and they generally make horrible bosses. It's good, maybe, for 2-3 years to get experience/responsibilities, but then you're saddled with loads of work and no thanks (particularly from an ungrateful public).
