Here is the central two lessons, whether you like it or not.
1) If you receive nude and/or sexually explicit photos depicting anyone under 18, no matter what your age is, DELETE THEM. COMPLETELY. EVERYWHERE. Even minors have been charged with possession of child porn, possessing nudes of their equally minor boyfriend/girlfriend. If you receive the photos in physical form, DESTROY THEM.
2) If for some reason you can't abide by #1, under no circumstances should you store such photos on an online cloud system, as that can be taken to be distribution, and then you are really, really screwed. Never re-text either. See Section C

It's kinda sad a 17 year male can't keep an "I love you" topless picture from their 17 year old girlfriend without risk of getting convicted of a felony, but that's just the Law.
