I do not believe this crap for a second.
Not even the redneck KKK is so stupid to think they will win friends like this.
Northam wants Prince William and Loudoun progressives to get motivated. He messed up with his racist advertisement that accused Gillespie of white supremacy.
Here is how it works.
Northam campaign member finds existing KKK racist literature online; uses it or writes new copy inspired by it; makes 20 or so copies and targets neighborhood where there is either a complicit resident who will call the police and media OR a resident who will be rightfully terrified and do same.
Door to door marketing is a stupid waste of time for anything but household services. Can you imagine what kind of pathetic return on investment the KKK would get trying to distribute literature door to door? And how people would react if they found a Klansman leafletting their neighborhood at night,
Extremist politics flourish online, easy to find with a Google search or in unmoderated comment sections, like here unfortunately.
Investigate the spread of the literature and you will likely find that it reached a small and concentrated block of intended residents.
Very likely that one of those who received the literature is one of the ones involved.
Very likely this is a political dirty trick timed to a week before the election.

LEESBURG, Va. — The candy in the plastic bag was sweet, the messages that accompanied it were filled with hate.
Several residents in neighborhoods surrounding historic Leesburg, Virginia, were surprised and angered to find plastic bags containing hate literature from the Ku Klux Klan in front of their homes Sunday.
Each bag contained a few pieces of candy and three sheets of paper containing cartoons and literature from the KKK.
The cartoon read: “Attention White America! We are nearing the end of the line,” and warned of “white extinction.”
The literature villainized African-Americans, Jews and liberals, and included the insignia for the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
Several neighbors who received the bags called them intrusive and unwanted, and described the KKK’s message as vile.
Leesburg police investigated the literature, to ensure it didn’t target any specific residents, but acknowledged that hate speech is covered by the First Amendment.
Leesburg is one of several cities considering the future of Confederate statues.
Residents in other states, including Texas, New York, North and South Carolina, New Jersey, California and Michigan have found plastic bags containing candy and KKK literature in recent years, according to news reports.
