He may indeed have been a good person. Unfortunately he was also a dead-beat and a loser. His family failed him -- as many other families have also failed their children -- by not encouraging him to get an education, a real job, and an actual life. (At the time of Kieron's death he was cavorting with fellow ne'er do-wells in the middle of the night on a weeknight.)
It is an odd phenomenon that here in the wealthiest part of the country amidst an educated, successful population, there is a sizable sub-culture of young adults who have not gone to college and are either unemployed or underemployed working menial, low-wage, unskilled jobs. Many or most are still living with parents even at nearly 30 years of age or more. These "young" adults are not necessarily lacking in intelligence, but they need a serious kick in the ass. Otherwise they are destined to ultimately end up in homeless shelters, on the streets, on government assistance, in jail, or DEAD.
The aspiring rappers, music promoters, tattoo artists, cartoonists, etc. are a drain on society and only serve to drive up taxes and reduce property values for responsible taxpayers. Jay Fasick, Keiron Hart, Colton West, Megan Price (Toohey), Monique Wells, Colton West, Seth Comstock, William Moreno, and their ilk are sad, tragic, wastes of humanity.
