They started out life as a catalog company and now they'really getting into brick and mortar. Their NOVA store is in Manassas near 66 and Sudley. Similar to L.L. Bean, better quality.

Well, llbean does cater to the gay outdoor wannabes. If that's the look you're going for.

Wow...that place is awesome! Lots of blue collar dudes talking to sales people about needing work clothes for tillin' the back 40, ice fishing, installing fences, changin' out the tranny on their SS 454 Chevelles from the Frankenstein U-selector to a Muncie rock crusher with a Hurst shifter and digging ditches...That store is making retail great again!

This place is designed for REAL men. None of this metrosexual, white collar professional, etc. stuff. This is for guys who hunt, do heavy yard work, etc. Great stuff for those kinds of guys.

Uh...no. Duluth has waist sizes starting at 30. DestinationXL has sizes starting at 36.

Bought a few of their things online, some wore well and didn't shrink, others didn't wear well or were unwearable after one washing. I stopped buying from them because it was impossible to predict quality.
There is a family-owned factory in Bristol, TN that has denim and brown duck jeans, overalls and chore coats. They sell on the internet. I found them through a 'Made in the USA' website.

I have a few Duluth shirts and a fleece jacket I bought online, nothing to brag about. It is decent stuff, but it looked much better online than IRL. I'd welcome a real store though. At least you could see their stuff in person before buying it. 60 bucks for a "Shoreman Jacket" wasn't too steep a price online, but I wouldn't have bought it had I seen it at an actual store. I rarely wear it. The henley shirts, I wear them around the house like pajamas. They are warm, but at 40 bucks, not worth it.

Duluth Trading sells their own brand of clothing. It is far superior to Carhart. But don't take my word for it...check them out yourself.
I prefer Carhartt jeans to Duluth, I've had 4 pair of each. The "ball room" diamond gets bunched up when sitting and looks weird. Their "tuckable" t-shirts were way oversized, had to send them back. The firehose work pants are great, but run small. Most of my issues were sizing via mail order, so being able to try them on in a store is a bonus.

Yea, supplied and outfitted gear until late 1990's. Now just a chic weekend clothing store.
They went North Face, dickhead. Go suck some goose down.

Have you ever been to the "Maine Store"? You are fucking clueless. Go fire up your Prius and hit the rugged Duluth. Then climb the Tyson's II trail, Dick Smoker.
