Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
“This is disgusting, vile and disqualifying. No woman should ever be subjected to this type of obscene behavior and it is unbecoming of anybody seeking high office. In light of these comments, Donald Trump should step aside and allow our party to replace him with Mike Pence or another appropriate nominee from the Republican Party. I cannot in good conscience vote for Donald Trump and I would never vote for Hillary Clinton.” — Rep. Barbara Comstock of Virginia.
If she dumped Trump, I wonder why her latest ads are saying she endorses Trump? I was looking for a third candidate for 10th district senate. Sure won't vote for Ms. Tax queen.
Barbara Comstock is the only Northern Virginia politician who can get a meeting with the White House or the Congressional leadership.
The question is whether she will share the millions of dollars she receives in earmarks with Gerry Connolly's failing district, which is losing defense contractors faster than you can say Hillary Lost.

Name one defense contractor the 11th district 'is losing'.
I'll wait.

A number of cyber security firms, including Bricata, are moving to Maryland.
According to the 106-page study in 2015, there is a total 71.5 million-square-feet of vacant office space throughout the D.C. region. The hardest hit areas include Fairfax County with 20 million-square-feet of vacant office space.
According to the Washington Business Journal, there is little to no near-term relief suggested in the study, though the study does have recommendations, which include adding amenities to the office environment and competing for office tenants "more effectively."
With little to no end in sight to the heightening vacancy rates, many developers have chosen to convert office buildings, basically giving up on the office industry.
