Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
I get sick and tired of every kid having a birthday party all the way out in Manassas. Turn it into a giant skating rink, house of bounce, arcade and fun zone supercenter. Someplace every kid in FFX would want to go to.

I see plenty of hot women at the gym and Mason is just down the road. Should be easy to recruiter women who want to make $1000+ a night.

They have agreed to build one on Westfield Blvd. So, what the duck is going into that space? I still think a multipurpose fun place for kids is the way to go.

Depends on the store. The Lotte building across the street was empty forever but is now doing very well. Golds Gym is crowded, Lowes, etc.

I agree. That middle shopping area is always turning over stores. There is no eye catching advertisement along Rt50 to bring people in.
I'd still like to see a massive bar complex go in like Dave and Busters. A bowling alley would be nice.

I think the suggestion was for an abortion clinic - Hint "Dr. Coat Hanger"

They could open a Planned Parenthood "mega center".

Probably not as bad as one might think. I don't believe KMart/Sears has filed for bankruptcy so any lease in effect wouldn't be wiped out. They probably reached a monetary settlement to break the lease.
This assumes that KMart/Sears doesn't own that entire strip. They do own LOTS of real estate.

The is a place at Fairfax Circle that deal with that issue.

Publix! Giant and Safeway suck and Harris Teeter is WAY overpriced.
You can add Sears Hardware in Franklin Farm that will be sitting vacant for a long time as well. The days of big retail space outside of Target and Walmart are over.
Let's make an arena for the new NBA D-League affiliate of our hometown Washington Wizards, the Chantilly Undergrounders (named after our beautiful website). Maybe some of our posters could go see a game and change their minds on what they've said.
