Star Wars opening last night

I went to the star wars midnight opening last night at Fairfax Square in tysons corner and didn't see one crazy person dressed up as darth vader or whatnot.
I hear Fairfax Corner had it on like 10 screens and there were all sorts of people dressed up. Anyone have any pictures? Reply and use the "attach" button to share. Thanks.

ahaha. definitely nobody. I'm not that big of a star wars fan. i saw one of the matrix movies and one of the lord of the rings at midnight and thought i'd go for a third trilogy at midnight.
was hoping to see crazy people dressed up as wookies and shit, but no such luck.

Just got back from seeing it at the Merrifield theater (DLP, looks much better when the movie is shot digitally) and the crowd was normal. At least by my low standards.

Oh, and I'm pleased to report that this movie was awesome.

Just got back from the 7:30 showing in Centreville. Didn't have to stand in line to get tickets since I purchased them April 21st. But we did have to stand in line to get good seats. Only a couple of little kids with darth vader helmets. Thats about it. It was actually rather tame when the movie started as well. I saw Episode I on opening night at the Uptown. As soon as STAR WARS showed up people shouted and cheer and carried on. Same thing when they saw the droids, etc. Not like that tonight. I second that it was really good.

I just saw it at the Drive in over on Route 1. The reception in my car stereo was off a bit. I missed some of the dialogue, but all in all it was an amazing flick. I highly recommend ot to anyone and everyone.
