Sigh...why do you people persist in making up facts to support your bigoted, puny narratives, when it is so easy to disprove them?
"Anchor babies" are a rightwing myth. While the 14th amendment of that document you all claim to know and love does grant citizenship to most individuals born on U.S. soil (you don't want to toss out the constitution, do you?), it does not confer lawful status. Children born in the U.S. of illegal parents have none, and are routinely deported to the parents' country -- along with their parents.
At 18, such children can return to the U.S., where they will then be lawful U.S. citizens. And when they turn 21, they can indeed sponsor parents and other relatives for legal entry into the country PROVIDED the sponsored individual has not resided in the U.S. for 10 years prior to sponsorship and meets a number of other requirements, first among which is that he or she must never have been in the country illegally. This certainly is no passport to an immigrant paradise of nonexistent welfare benefits.
You people can verify this all for yourself at www.ice.gov but you won't, because it hurts your weak minds. It's much easier to get those marching orders from Fox and Friends.
