Is this typical, or are these nickel and dime add-on charges? $15 extra charge because they have a similar model in stock, regardless of price?? Seems shitty.
Inbound Transfer Fees (per transaction / background check):
One Firearm $35
Two Firearms $65
Three Firearms $90
Four or more Firearms priced on Individual Case Basis
Assault Weapons: $50, applies to new production Assault Rifles or Shotguns (as defined by VA Law)
The following Inbound Transfer Surcharges also apply if applicable:
In-Stock Inventory Surcharge: $15, applies to new production firearms that we typically carry In-Stock
Wrong Address Surcharge: $15, applies to inbound transfers shipped to the wrong address --- all firearm shipments must be addressed to our FFL Premises in accordance with our instructions: Sterling Arsenal 201 Davis Drive, Unit FF, Sterling, VA 20164; Firearms shipped to our PO BOX mailing address are subject to the surcharge.
"Packing Peanut" Surcharge: $5 applied to inbound transfers received with loose packing peanuts. Please instruct your seller to not use loose packing peanuts. Packing peanuts make a huge mess and can result in lost items during the receiving process.
Transfer fees look pretty good.
I've never heard of a dealer charging extra for a gun they have in stock.
Nor for packing peanutz.LOL.They can be a mess.I'd rather have them than a damaged gun.
I dunno about deleivery to a wrong address. How would they know? Its not right to charge me or you for ups deleivering to the wrong address. And it happens far more than you might think.
I can't figure the extra for an assault weapon,it doesn't cost any more than a regular rifle.
